Saunas (Finnish and infrared ones)
Finnish sauna:
It has a detoxifying effect. Its temperature ranges between 80-110°C while its humidity is low. As the body perspires, toxins leave the body. Before using the sauna take a shower and stay inside the sauna for 5-20 minutes per occasion. In the breaks it is recommended to shower but it is not compulsory. After using the sauna a cold-water bath has beneficial effects. After finishing the sauna it is very important to take a rest. The Finnish sauna is not suitable for people with heart problems.
Infrared sauna:
You can sit or lie in the infrared sauna room, which does not make use of a stove.. Instead there are infrared heaters and the temperature is only 60°C. During treatment the infrared rays penetrate the skin about 4 cms where the light transforms into heat energy which heats up the body and thus generates a detoxifying and cell regenerating effect.
During a 30-minute use the body burns 900 calorie, of which our cells take back a maximum of 200 calories.. It is the equivalent of a 15-km run. The amount of sweat produced is approximately three times greater, while the detoxifying effect is 20-60 times more than in a traditional sauna. Moreover, 3-7 times more such components can be found in the sweat that are not of water-like nature. The continuous use of the infrared sauna mellows the fat rolls and ’rearranges’ the muscles by making the lymphatic fluids flow intensely. It is a great help when you are on diet or trying to decrease cellulite. At the same time, it detoxifies the body, strengthens the vascular and the immune system, makes you relaxed and improves your mood.
What’s more, it has a spectacular effect not only on the cellulite of the critical parts but also on the whole area of the skin. During a course (10-15 occasions) our skin is rejuvenated by 10 or 15 years due to its pore purifying and cell regenerating effect.
