Farm visit
Hotel Venus can arrange a visit to Garabonciás Farm, which serves as the Hotel’s pantry. Virtually all of the fresh food served at the restaurant originates from this farm. There you will find almost every kind of domestic animal, from chickens and rabbits, to horses and cows. Young and old alike will be captivated and entertained by the goings-on of the farm.
The city-dweller can see firsthand as a novelty, what was once the common, everyday way of life. The child or adult, accustomed to seeing their chicken or pork in the pot or on the plate, can see the variety of farm animals and learn how and why they are kept. The farm visitor may also get close to tame animals and pet them if they wish. As this is a working farm, the visitor can see the everyday routine of the farm and its workers, and perhaps participate in a small way in the feeding and care of the animals.
A special tour-guide will be provided for the farm visit. Children are given special attention to help them get acquainted with the animals and stroke them if they wish.

As already mentioned, all of the basic meats and vegetables which are found in the restaurant of Hotel Venus originate from the Garabonciás Farm. In this way, we wish to support our guests who are interested in leading a healthier life-style, and to show that healthful foods can be even tastier and more satisfying than so-called “junk-food.”
In short, the farm serves not only as an excursion destination, but also as our resource of health-giving foods, since everything is raised chemical-free.
